Tables are objects which have appeared throughout The Legend of Zelda series. In most games, they are unremarkable and little more than decoration; this page is intended to list only instances where they play a remarkable role.
Echoes of Wisdom
When Zelda is falsely imprisoned in a jail cell underground Hyrule Castle, there is a small table in her cell. When Tri appears and gives her the Tri Rod, she can use its power to create her first echo - the Table Echo. Both these tables and their echoes are short enough for her to jump on them from the ground unaided, helping her to first escape the jail cell by reaching the hole at the top of a damaged wall. Subsequently, she can use tables she finds (or echoes she creates) to access higher places when necessary.
