Let's Play a Game

Let's Play a Game is a Side Quest in Echoes of Wisdom.

Overview

Just outside of the Eastern Temple, Zelda will find a archaeologist named Sago. Sago hears a loud noise from within the temple and he's afraid to go inside. After Zelda speaks with Sago, this will begin the quest.

Requirements

Walkthrough

  • In the initial room, there are two Sparks. Zelda can defeat the enemy sparks by using an Echo with a projectile attack, such as a Club Boardblin Lv. 2. Zelda can then learn the Spark Echo.
  • In the second room, there is a block in the top-left corner. One of the Sparks will naturally move into it, lighting up the outer layer. Zelda can use Bind to move the other Sparks in the room, or create Sparks with the Spark Echo. Send two sparks into the yellow block to open the door.
  • Similarly, Zelda will need to hit the yellow block, but this one only needs to be hit twice. Move the boulders in the room and use the ramp to get the sparks to climb up to the second level. They will move around the room and hit the box to light it up.
  • There is a bonus room to the right with a pair of Octoroks. Zelda can spawn enemies with projectile attacks, such as a Spear Moblin Lv. 2. They can take care of the Octoroks. Then Zelda can spawn sparks to move around the room and hit the yellow block, causing a treasure chest to appear containing rupees.
  • In room to the west, Zelda can use Bind to move the Sparks and open the chest to get some Rock Salt.
  • In the underwater sequence, Zelda can maneuver past the Sparks and open a chest to get 50 rupees. After resurfacing, he'll confront the dungeon boss, Smog.
  • During the first phase, Zelda can use projectile attacks to attach Smog. This could include using the Swordfighter Form and launching Arrows, or using projectiles such as from a Spear Moblin.
  • During the second phase, Smog will split up and Zelda will need to use Bind on the objects to get the cloud moving around the room to bump into eachother. Once they do so, they will begin to reform Smog. Once all the pieces are back together, Zelda can once against deal damage.
  • After defeating Smog, Zelda will earn a Piece of Heart. Zelda can then return to Sago and earn the Ancient Charm as her reward.
