"This spear was issued to the knights who guarded Hyrule Castle's throne room. Its ornate design was applied by a craftsman in service to the royal family."

— In-Game Description[1]

It's part of the Royal equipment set, which includes a one-handed sword, a two-handed sword, a bow, and a shield. It has a base power of 26 and a base durability of 50. The halberd has a magnificent design, adorned with golden accents and with a grip cloaked in purple ribbon. On the surface, the halberd is similar to the Royal Guard's Spear, with the only difference being the choice of colors.

"Although now decayed, this spear was once given to knights who guarded critical areas of Hyrule Castle. It enables a powerful flurry rush during a perfect dodge."

— In-Game Description

The Royal Halberd can generally be found within Hyrule Castle, either lying around or as a reward from defeating Monster Forces. A weapon for expert wielders, it deals double damage during Flurry Rushes, making them very powerful if one can consistently activate them.
