In A Link Between Worlds, a descendant of Sahasrahla appears and bears the same name.
Sahasrahla serves as an old wise man and tells Link of the events from A Link to the Past. After learning that Yuga is hunting down the descendants of the Seven Sages, he tells Link of his apprentice, Osfala, who is one of the descendants. He asks Link to go look for him at the Eastern Palace.
