The Youngest Hinox Brother
Hinox (Youngest Kin)

The Youngest Hinox Brother, or Hinox (Youngest Kin), is a particular Hinox found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Hinox (Youngest Kin) is a red Hinox, who can be found sleeping at the Hanu Pond within Mount Taran. He is the youngest of the three Hinox brothers in the region that are part of the The Three Giant Brothers shrine quest. The Hinox has a large Ancient Orb around its neck. Link can land on top of the Hinox and steal the orb before it even wakes up. Alternatively, Link will need to defeat the Hinox so that it drops the orb to the ground.

The youngest Hinox has a Spiked Boko Bat and a Spiked Boko Bow also surrounding its neck. Once it is has been defeated, it may drop a Hinox Toenail, Hinox Tooth, or some Hinox Guts. It usually drops some fruit as well, including a Wildberry, Palm Fruit, Hearty Durian, Apple, or Fortified Pumpkin.

Tears of the Kingdom

After the Upheaval, the three Hinox Brothers migrated west and settled in the cave systems near Lake Floria. The Youngest Hinox Brother has made his home very down below in the darkness of the Rodai Lakefront Tunnel. Link will need to defeat this Hinox, along with his two brothers to complete the Ousting the Giants quest.
