The Exotic Flower is an item in The Wind Waker. It is the third item in the Trading Sequence.

Link can receive the Exotic Flower from the Traveling Merchants on Greatfish Isle and Mother and Child Isles. The earliest he can get it is after he obtains the Sea Flower, which, along with 25 Rupees, he can exchange to the Greatfish Isle merchant for an Exotic Flower.[1][2] Link and the merchant then form a merchant's oath, which allows Zunari to sell the item in his shop for 25 Rupees.[3][4]

After, Link can trade the Exotic Flower for three different items on each island. On Mother and Child Isles, the merchant gives Link a Pinwheel.[5] It costs 55 Rupees.[6] On Bomb Island, the merchant will give him a Sickle Moon Flag.[7] It costs 40 Rupees.[8] On Greatfish Isle, the merchant offers a Sea Flower.[9] It costs 20 Rupees.[10]

Later, Link can receive another Exotic Flower by trading the Pinwheel to the merchants on Greatfish Isle and Mother and Child Isles.[11] The cost is still 25 Rupees.[12]

Aside from trading, the Exotic Flower can be placed in pedestals around Windfall Island in order to brighten up the town in accordance with the Joyous Volunteer Association.[13]
