Lake Darman is a lava lake in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Darman Lake is situated to the north and west of Death Mountain, and receives lava from the mountain via the Death Caldera which surrounds it, both directly and through Goro Cove. To the west, it blends into Darunia Lake around the Isle of Rabac and Abandoned North Mine.

Along the mine cart track, get off on the southern skull to find a pinwheel. Look near the broken skull to see an erratic balloon. Shoot the balloon to get the seed.

Tears of the Kingdom

Lake Darman can be found just northwest of Death Mountain and northeast of Goron City. With Death Mountain cooling in Tears of the Kingdom, Lake Darman is no longer filled with lava and is walkable. At the northeast end of the region, there is a hot spring that is in the shape of a lizard. The spring here has soothing water which will restore Link's health when he is partially submerged. A treasure chest can be found in the water to the east, which contains three Bomb Flowers.

An Igneo Talus can be found at the north end of the region. Just north of the Talus, a bit down the cliff, there are some breakable boulders that have a chest behind them, containing a Cobble Crusher.

On a higher cliff on the south end of the lake, Link will fight a Stalnox. At the west end of the area, there is a Blue Boss Bokoblin along with eight Blue Bokoblin following behind.

Lizard's Burrow

Main article: Lizard's Burrow

Just south of the lizard shaped lake, there are some boulders up against the wall. Link can break these boulders to find the Lizard's Burrow. Inside there is a treasure chest which contains the Vah Rudania Divine Helm.

Bring Peace to Eldin!

Main article: Bring Peace to Eldin!

At the east end of Lake Darman, Link will find Toren's Squad, ready to charge the Lake Darman Monster Den. After Link speaks with Toren or one of the squad members, this will begin the Bring Peace to Eldin! quest. Link will need to fight alongside the squad and defeat the Marauders of Eldin. As a reward for helping out, Toren will give Link a Silver Rupee. This completes the quest and then unlocks the Bring Peace to Akkala! quest.

Sibajitak Shrine

Main article: Sibajitak Shrine

The Sibajitak Shrine can be found at the very far northeast end of Lake Darman. Also known as Alignment, the shrine requires Link to use Recall to align pillars on top of each other, so he can Ascend through all of them at once.

Korok Seeds

  • Just north of the Sibajitak Shrine, there is an overhang that has a tree stump on the ceiling. Use Ascend to travel through and get the Korok Seed.
  • Just to the east of where Link fights the Stalnox, Link can climb up a small ledge to find a Dandelion. Hit it and catch it before it hits the ground to get a Korok Seed.
  • East of where the Stalnox is, way up top of the overhang, there is a small stump. Step on it and race to the yellow circle to the north to get the Korok Seed.
  • Just southeast of the entrance to Lizard's Burrow, on the higher ledge, there is a bridge. Under the bridge there is a bottle. Break the bottle with an arrow to get the Korok Seed.
