- This is an expansion of the 1986 Futabashi Guide
- The first 110 pages are almost identical to the 1986 version. In most cases, the text, screenshots, artwork are all identical and the guide is structured in the same instance
- In the 1986 guide, some screenshots were left with question marks, wanting the player to discover what is in the area. This 1994 version does not have that ambiguity, and instead just shows the reader what is there.
- The guide has a second quest guide, which is pulled directly from the 1990 Futabashi Guide
- At the back of the book, there is some new content exclusive to this guide, showing fun tips and secrets
