This article is about the unliving statues. For the enemy, see Armos.

Armos Statues are reoccurring objects in The Legend of Zelda series. These statues are identical to ordinary Armos, except that they show no signs of life. Some of these statues are stationary and cannot be moved, while others can be pushed or destroyed to solve puzzles.

Link's Awakening

In Link's Awakening, Armos appear just outside of Southern Face Shrine. Some of the statues here are actual Armos enemies and animate when Link makes contact with them. However, most of the objects here are purely Armos Statues and cannot be moved.

Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask

In Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, Armos Statues appear throughout dungeons. They have the same appearance as dormant Armos, except Link can move them around, often pushing them on top of switches or moving them out of the way to reach new areas. A dormant Armos comes to life when Link makes contact with it, and in Ocarina of Time, young Link can only kill them with Bombs or Bomb Flowers. However, adult Link can damage them with his sword.

Oracle of Seasons & Oracle of Ages

In Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages, Armos statues appear just as they did in Link's Awakening. Many can be pushed as part of secrets throughout the overworld, or in some cases, must be pushed to progress in certain areas.

Four Swords Adventures

Armos Statues appear in the second level of The Desert of Doubt, the Desert Temple, acting mainly as an obstacle to be pushed aside to gain access to more areas. Armos enemies also appear here.

The Wind Waker

In The Wind Waker, Armos statues appear in the Tower of the Gods and the Wind Temple. In the Tower of the Gods, Link can move the Armos Statue on top of switches. Link can do the same in the Wind Temple. Link can tell the difference between an Armos and an Armos Statue by their backs. If there is no red switch, then it is an Armos Statue.
