The journal is one of the many Yiga Clan Journals found throughout Hyrule. It is located in the Yiga Clan Maritta Branch, found within the Aldor Foothills. The journal is found in the hidden chamber up above, where Aliza is being held prisoner and forced to make Yiga Tights.
The journal talks about the various divisions of the Yiga Clan and the requirements in order to be a part of those particular divisions.

Research Division: Researches and develops new applications for Zonai parts. Requirements: Crafting skill. An ear for naming.
Training Division: Oversees the improvement of all members of the Yiga Clan. Requirements: Resilience. Mastery of the Earthwake technique—training available through the Training Division.
Distribution Division: Supplies materials to the Depths hideouts. Requirements: Can read and write. Confident in own strength.
