Dragon Tears are special events which can be triggered in Tears of the Kingdom. There are a total of 12 tears located throughout all of Hyrule, each associated with a geoglyph. Every Dragon Tear contains a memory of Zelda's time in the past. They contain key characters in the early days of Hyrule, and detail Ganondorf's rise to power.
How to Unlock
When Link finds Impa near the New Serenne Stable, as part of the Impa and the Geoglyphs quest, the pair will travel up to the Sky in a Hot-Air Balloon. Here the two will see a Geoglyph on the ground, and Impa tasks Link with searching for a Dragon Tear. This search will reveal 12 memories with their associated Geoglyph.
Additionally, there are six memories that will take place throughout the main story, giving a total of 18 memories.
