The Mighty Lynel Shield has a base [[Shield Guard]] of 44, and can be obtained by defeating [[Blue-Maned Lynel]]s scattered in the overworld, for example in [[Deep Akkala]]. The blade is very large, but can still be wielded single-handed by [[Link (Breath of the Wild)|Link]]. The design is fairly minimalist, with a more refined metal aesthetic which includes the use of chains, simply for fearmongering.

It is to be noted that, like other Mighty Lynel weapons and lesser, the appearances of this weapon deprecate as more Lynels are fought against. At a point, most Lynel and Mighty Lynel weapons will eventually turn into Savage Lynel weapons, as Lynels and Blue-Maned Lynels turn into White-Maned Lynels and Silver Lynels. Eventually, the only Mighty Lynel Shield that can still be obtained is from the [[Blue-Maned Lynel]] in [[Hyrule Castle]]'s [[First Gatehouse]].
