While feeding [[Lord Jabu-Jabu]] one day, Ruto was swallowed by the Zora deity, and dropped the Spiritual Stone {{Ref|OOT|1358-1359|Ruto}}, which ended up deep [[inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly]]. Since Ruto had been going inside Lord Jabu-Jabu since she was young, she went searching for it, but was stymied by the [[Bari|electric jellyfish]] and other oddities.{{Ref|OOT|1352|Ruto}} However, she did send out a [[Ruto's Letter|message in a bottle]]{{Ref|OOT|1278|[[Ruto's Letter]]}}, which ended up in [[Lake Hylia (Ocarina of Time)|Lake Hylia]].
