The Seven Wise Men are the seven sages from A Link to the Past but they were retranslated as the Seven Sages of Ocarina of Time in the Game Boy Advance version. The Seven Wise Men sealed Ganon to prevent him from subjugating the world after the Hero of Time's defeat. With the orders from the King of Hyrule, the Seven Wise Men sealed the gate to the Sacred Realm. The seal to the Sacred Realm should have remained for all time, but when these events became obscured and a legend, a mysterious wizard, known as Agahnim, came to Hyrule and released the seal, and eliminated the King of Hyrule. The descendants of the Seven Wise Men, the Seven Maidens, was sealed in the Dark World by Ganon, disguised as Agahnim.
