Hyrule Ranch is a location in Echoes of Wisdom. Zelda can purchase Fresh Milk or rent a horse here. In order to reach the ranch for the first time, Zelda must complete The Blocked Road by moving the items blocking the path.
Echoes of Wisdom
The ranch is inhabited by five people: an old man, the man from The Blocked Road, a young boy, and two women. There are several animals in the ranch, including horses, dogs, cows, cats and cuccos. Inside the ranch house, Zelda can buy Fresh Milk for 50 Rupees. A Stamp Stand is just outside the ranch.
When Zelda first arrives, the inhabitants are concerned about a horse who has gone missing. They tell Zelda that they are closed for business until the horse is found. If Zelda tries to take a horse out of the ranch during this time, she is stopped by the old man.[1] The old man asks Zelda to keep an eye out for the missing horse, starting the Runaway Horse Side Quest. Zelda can find the horse to the west and bring it back safely. The old man is grateful and tells Zelda she can take any horse she would like.
If Zelda chooses the white horse, however, he explains that they are taking care of her for someone else, so she is unavailable.[2]
