Gol is a character from Echoes of Wisdom.
Echoes of Wisdom
Gol is a Goron Elder. His hair and the ridges on his back are gold, possibly inspiring his name.
He can be found immobile from hunger in the Rock-Roast Quarry as part of the main quest of the same name along with some companions, after fleeing from a rift which opened toward the back of the quarry. After feeding them with Rock Roasts, they recover, but Gol cannot remember the answer to her and Darston's questions as to the location of the Crater Shortcut. After regrouping in Goron City, he and Silv manage to remember that it was something to do with a path Darston's father blocked off in the chief's room.
