Overview

Found in Eastern Hyrule Field, directly between Hyrule Castle and Jabul Waters, there are some Spear Moblins in the area outside the temple. • In the initial room, there are two Sparks. Zelda can defeat the enemy sparks by using an Echo with a projectile attack, such as a Club Boardblin Lv. 2. Zelda can then learn the Spark Echo.
  • In the second room, there is a block in the top-left corner. One of the Sparks will naturally move into it, lighting up the outer layer. Zelda can use Bind to move the other Sparks in the room, or create Sparks with the Spark Echo. Send two sparks into the yellow block to open the door.
  • Similarly, Zelda will need to hit the yellow block, but this one only needs to be hit twice. Move the boulders in the room and use the ramp to get the sparks to climb up to the second level. They will move around the room and hit the box to light it up.
  • There is a bonus room to the right with a pair of Octoroks. Zelda can spawn enemies with projectile attacks, such as a Spear Moblin Lv. 2. They can take care of the Octoroks. Then Zelda can spawn sparks to move around the room and hit the yellow block, causing a treasure chest to appear containing rupees.
  • In room to the west, Zelda can use Bind to move the Sparks and open the chest to get some Rock Salt.
  • In the underwater sequence, Zelda can maneuver past the Sparks and open a chest to get 50 rupees. After resurfacing, he'll confront the dungeon boss, Smog.

Boss Battle

Main article: Smog (Echoes of Wisdom)

Initially Smog will move around the room and Zelda will need to attack its eye with a projectile. She can do so by spawning Echos, such as a Spear Moblin Lv. 2. Alternatively, she can transform into Swordfighter Form and use arrows to attack the boss.

After defeating the first phase, Smog will break up into three smaller clouds, traveling around the room. Whatever it is close to, it will attach itself too, including the Boulders. Furthermore, when these clouds are struck with an attack, they will freeze in place for a moment. Zelda can use Bind on the Boulders to move the clouds. As they come into contact with other clouds, they will form a larger cloud. When all three are merged together, Smog will reappear and the first phase is repeated.

Afterwards, Smog will then break up into five smaller clouds, but the strategy remains the same. Bring them together and defeat Smog. As a reward, Zelda will earn some rupees and a Piece of Heart.
