Jabul Ruins is a dungeon found in Echoes of Wisdom. Internally, the game marks it as the second dungeon, but it and Gerudo Sanctum can be freely completed in either order.

Echoes of Wisdom

After reconciling the Sea Zora chief Kushara with the River Zora chief Dradd and defeating the impostor Lord Jabu-Jabu, Zelda enters the Stilled Jabul Waters through the rift in Lord Jabu-Jabu's Den, and makes her way to the Jabul Ruins there.

On entering the Ruins and activating the waypoint, the floor almost immediately drops out from under her, and she & Tri must travel through the first of many side-scrolling underwater areas in the dungeon. Worse, Vocavor appears and generates a whirling mass of water, forcing her to race forward until she reaches a ladder out. After activating another waypoint, there are five coloured boxes on the wall in the room - blue, purple & red on a lower row; and yellow & green on an upper. There is also a purple switch on the floor, which lights up the purple box, and water pours out through the centre of it. This then drains through a hole before coming back out as a fountain, on a repeating cycle.

Zelda must go through two paths to reach the blue and red switches to reach the upper floor with the fountain, with the Dungeon Map on the red path; then two more paths on the upper floor to get the yellow and green switches and reach the big key door. The Big Key itself is in the green path; while the yellow path is the only one which is entirely top-down.

Vocavor serves as the dungeon boss of the Jabul Ruins; as with other dungeon bosses, it holds many of Tri's friends captive. Zelda must repeatedly hit the weak spot on its back, either with echoes or Swordfighter Form, to defeat it. This done, Tri's friends mend the Jabul Waters rift; and share enough energy with Tri to give the latter one full level's worth of Experience Points; and five Might Crystals for Zelda.
