Notes about category rules: While it may be faster to death warp at certain points such as after collecting the White Sword, Bow, or Recorder, it is forbidden to use deaths as a way to save time and accidental deaths can in some cases cause your run to be rejected. If you take a death that saves time, you can always return to the spot where you died and continue on. Time starts 1.84 seconds after selecting your file and ends when you talk to Zelda.

Getting to Level 2

Grab sword in cave on starting screen
Up, Right, Up, Right x 5, Up, Left, Up to Level 2

Level 2

Start collecting rupee drops here if you want to buy potions after Level 1
Exit Right and kill Ropes for Key, exit Up
Avoid enemies or kill for rupees and exit Up
Find the Red Goriya that spawns in the center and kill to clear the room
Collect any bombs and exit Up
Kill Ropes for a Key and exit Up
Kill Moldorms for a Key and exit Up
Kill Ropes to exit Up
Kill Red Goriyas to spawn bomb pack and open the door (can use bombs until 2 remaining), exit Up
Wait for Dodongo to face left/right and drop a bomb in its mouth, drop another bomb quickly while it is stunned and stab his body to force a bomb drop
Collect Heart Container (4 total) and Triforce Piece

Minimum Inventory after level

3 Keys - 2 Bombs - 0 Rupees

Getting to Level 1

Down, Right, Up
Push Right statue for 30 Secret (30R)
Up, Left
Bomb cave for Heart Container (5 total)
Scroll Right and bomb cave for 30 Secret (60R)
Up, Right, Right, Up (secret stairs) for 100 Secret (160R)
Down, Left, Up to Old Man for Letter (optional early potion)
Down, Left, Up, Left to shop for Blue Candle (100R)
Down, Left, Right, Left, Up to White Sword cave
Before collecting the sword, exit down and go back up again to respawn the Lynel in a safer location
Down, Left x 3, Down, Right
Burn bottom-right tree for 30 Secret (130R)
Down and Left to Level 1

Level 1

Exit and reenter to unlock the first door, saving a Key
Go Right and kill the Stalfos holding the Key, then exit Left and Up
Kill enemies if needed, and exit Up
Bomb the North wall and kill all 5 Stalfos for a key before exiting
Exit Up
Collect the Key from the Stalfos and exit Up
Kill the Red Goriyas for a Key and exit Left
Push the Left-most block and enter the stairs to collect the Bow
Backtrack to the room with the bombed South wall and enter the key door on the Right
(Optional) Kill the 3 Red Goriyas for the Boomerang
Exit Right to the Wallmaster room and avoid touching the walls as you collect the Key and exit Up
Aquamentus can be killed with 3 stabs or 1 stab and a bomb

Minimum Inventory after level

4 Keys - 1 Bomb - 130 Rupees

Getting to Level 3

Go Right and Down, then burn the 3rd row of bushes for 30 Secret (optional if less than 150 rupees or buying a potion)
Go Left and burn 5th bush from the Right for choice of Heart Container or Potion (if skipping Letter and Potion Shop)
Left, Down, Left, Down, Left to Potion Shop
Leave Potion Shop with about 140 rupees minimum (continue to collect rupee drops at this point until you have 150)
Left, Down, Right to Level 3

Level 3

Exit Left, collect the Key, exit Up
Kill the 5 Zols for a Key and exit Up
Go Left x 2 and then Up to collect a Key
Go Down to Red Darknut room and optionally use bombs until 1 bomb remaining, then stab them twice from the side or back
Go Down and enter the stairs to collect to Raft
Backtrack to the room with 3 Red Darknuts, kill them for bombs if you have 6 or fewer
Bomb the Right wall and exit Up in the next room
Bomb the Right wall to find Manhandla
Start the fight by moving Up one tile and placing a bomb to the Right, if this bomb does not end the fight use bombs until you have 2 remaining and then use the sword after
Use your potion in this fight if needed

Minimum Inventory after level

6 Keys - 2 Bomb - 150 Rupees

Getting to Level 4

Kill Blue Moblins and Blue Octoroks if you have less than 4 bombs, kill everything if less than 150 rupees
Go Left, Up, Left and burn the 3rd bush down from the top-center for 100 Secret
Up, Right, Right, Up, Up and push top-middle statue to enter shop to buy Blue Ring
Down, Down, Right, Down, Right, Up, Up (across water) to Level 4

Level 4

Go Up and stab through Vires as needed to exit Up again
Collect the Key and exit Left
Use the Candle to light the room and follow the path through the center and Up
Collect the Key and exit Up
Follow the outside edge of the room to exit the key door on the Right
Kill the Vires to advance to the Right
Clear this room and push the Left block, go down the stairs and collect the Ladder
Backtrack to the last dark room and follow the outside edge around to exit Up
Exit Right and follow the outside edge around to bomb the North wall (must have 2 bombs minimum!)
Collect rupees (10R) and bomb the Right wall
Kill Vires and push Left block to enter Gleeok fight
If you have 4+ hearts remaining, stand inside his hitbox and spam the sword, otherwise strafe left/right between the two blocks and wait for a safe opening

Minimum Inventory after level

6 Keys - 2 Bombs - 10 Rupees

Getting to Level 5

Down, Down, Right, Right and bomb North wall for 30 Secret (40R)
Right x4 and burn the bush just below the center of the screen for 100 Secret (140R)
Start killing blue enemies for bombs at this point
Go Down and bomb wall on Left side for Heart Container (9/10)
Right x4, Up x2 for Heart Container (10/11)
Up x3 for choice of Heart Container (10 minimum) or Potion
Left, Up, Left, Up (stairs), Left, Left, Up x4 to Level 5

Level 5

Exit Up and bomb the Left wall
Avoid the Gibdos and bomb the Left wall
Use a block clip (highly recommended) Legend of Zelda Block Clip or kill all Blue Darknuts to enter the stairs
Go through the Left key door
Kill all Blue Darknuts (use bombs until 4 remaining then stab from the side or back)
Enter the stairs and collect the Recorder
Backtrack to Gibdo room and collect the bomb pack before exiting to the Right
Kill the 3 Gibdos to unlock to North door and collect the Key, exit Up
You can farm bombs from the Dodongos if fewer than 7 but it is risky
Exit Right and go Up through the next 3 rooms, ignoring enemies if possible
Collect the Key and go Left twice, avoiding enemies
Go to the bottom below the Pol’s Voice to safely exit Left
Place a bomb just above Digdogger and use the Recorder immediately, use 2 stabs to finish him

Minimum Inventory after level

5 Keys - 5 Bombs - 140 Rupees

Getting to Level 7

Face Right and use the Recorder, then use it again when the wind is on screen to warp to Level 3
Kill blue enemies if less than 7 bombs
Go back to Blue Ring shop to buy Meat (Left, Up, Up, Right, Up, Up) (80R)
Go Down one screen to buy Arrows (0R)
Optionally buy Bombs if you have extra rupees, ideally you want 5–10 rupees when leaving here
Down, Left, Left, Up, and use the Recorder to open Level 7

Level 7

If fewer than 7 bombs, go Right one screen and kill Moldorms then go back Left
Go Up and bomb the North wall to advance
Avoid enemies and exit Up
Kill enemies to open North door
Avoid Digdogger and exit Left
Face up and drop Meat then exit Up
Use Meat to advance Up
Walk up to the center of the room and exit Right
Bomb the Right wall in the next two rooms
Exit Right through key door (kill Blue Goriyas for bomb pack if fewer than 5)
Place a bomb on Digdogger and use Recorder like in Level 5, then drop another bomb immediately
If the second bomb does not end the fight, you can choose to kill them all or just kill one and exit/reenter the room to despawn the rest
Exit Up and bomb the Right wall
Walk Right along the bottom wall, killing Wallmasters as you go, switch to Bow if you get stunned by a Bubble and be sure to avoid clocks so Wallmasters continue to spawn
After killing 5 Wallmasters, push the Right-center block and go down the stairs
Bomb the Right wall and stab Aquamentus 3 times

Minimum Inventory after level

2 Keys - 1 Bomb - 12 Hearts

Getting to Level 6

Go Down and Left, kill Blue Moblins if you have 0 bombs
Go Down to maze then Up, Left, Down, Left to graveyard area
Up, Up, Right, Up, Up and push the grave in the Middle row, third from the Left to get the Magical Sword (must have 12 hearts to collect it)
Down, Right, Up to Level 6

Level 6

Exit Left through the key door
Begin killing all Red Wizzrobes if you have 0 bombs
Go Up x 2 and kill all Keese to collect a Key and advance Up again
Walk Up through the next room and kill all enemies, then push the Left block to advance Up
Bomb the Right wall if you have bombs
Follow this path if you are out of bombs: Go Up and kill the Gleeok, Right one screen and Down through the key door, collect bombs until full
Walk to the center and collect the Key then exit Down
Kill the 5 Vires and exit Right
Clear the room and push the block to enter the stairs
Avoid enemies and exit Down to the dark room
Kill 3 Vires for a Key and exit Left
Farm Red Wizzrobes for bombs if needed and exit Up to Ghoma
Kill Ghoma with a single arrow to the eye

Minimum Inventory after level

2 Keys - 5 Bombs

Getting to Level 8

Face Down and use Recorder once to Level 2
Kill blue enemies if needed until you have 8 bombs
Down, Right, Down, Down, and burn the single bush to enter Level 8
If you still need bombs, go Right two screens for more blue enemies and a bomb shop

Level 8

Exit Up and avoid Manhandla as you bomb the North wall
Clear this room to collect a Key and exit Up, you can use bombs for the Darknuts but you must have 4 remaining after both Darknut rooms
Avoid enemies and exit Up
Clear all Blue Darknuts and exit Right
Avoid enemies and use the stairs
Face Up after exiting the stairs and place a bomb by the North wall then use arrows to clear any enemies in your path (be sure to save about 5 rupees/arrows)
Use the same strategy as Level 4 for this Gleeok fight

Minimum Inventory after level

2 Keys - 3 Bombs

Getting to Level 9

Face Down and use Recorder once to get to Level 1
Begin killing blue enemies if fewer than 3 bombs
Right, Up, Left, Up, Up (stairs), Left, Left and bomb Left rock to open Level 9
Go one more screen to the Left if less than 3 bombs or you have enough money to buy a potion

Level 9

Go Up two screens and bomb the Left wall, kill these enemies for a key if you have fewer than 3
Kill Moldorms or block clip to enter the stairs
Walk around spiral and exit Right key door
Walk Right to Patra 1
Kill Patra for a bomb pack and exit Up
Bomb the Left wall
Kill all enemies and push Left block to enter the stairs
Use Left key door and walk Left to Patra 2
Kill Patra 2 and use the stairs
Bomb the North wall and go into the Reverse-C room
Clear any Red Wizzrobes in the bottom-left corner and use bombs until you have 2 remaining (must have 2 to complete the run)
Push the right-center block after killing all enemies and enter the stairs to collect the Silver Arrows
Backtrack to Patra 2 and go Up
Kill enemies as needed to go Up then avoid enemies in the next room and exit Up again
Bomb the Left wall in this room with the sand texture, if you forget and exit Up here you will have to die and restart the dungeon to get back
Clear all enemies to push the Left block and use the stairs
Walk through the spike traps at the top of the room to damage boost, avoid the Wizzrobes, and bomb the Left wall
Block clip or clear enemies to use the stairs
Kill Patra 3 to exit Up to enter Ganon fight
The easiest strategy is to stand above the statue in the bottom-left corner and stab to the right until you get 4 hits, then use the Silver Arrow to kill Ganon and collect the Triforce
