The King of Hyrule Echo, referred to as "King of Hyrule?", is an impostor version of the King of Hyrule borne from a rift in Echoes of Wisdom.

Echoes of Wisdom

When the king of Hyrule, Minister Lefte and General Wright are sucked into the rift formed in the throne room of Hyrule Castle, tecuum almost immediately appear and form into the images of the three. The impostor version of the king wastes no time in framing Zelda for the rifts, and has her thrown into the cells in the Hyrule Castle Underground.

When Zelda escapes, partly thanks to Impa, he has the elder Sheikah woman captured and thrown into the cells in Zelda's place; has wanted posters for the princess put up on walls around the kingdom; and sends soldiers to search for her.

After Hyrule Castle and Hyrule Castle Town are almost fully swallowed by the throne room rift, Zelda and her companion Tri travel through Stilled Hyrule Castle Town and the Hyrule Castle dungeon before confronting the impostor King and his lackeys in the room locked by the Big Key. The impostor King menacingly states that he finds Zelda's mending of rifts "vexing", and vows to use his "master's power to be rid of [her] once and for all." He, along with the echoes of Lefte and Wright, then briefly turn into teccum once more before reforming into one being - an echo of Ganon. With Ganon's defeat, the impostor king is not seen again, and the real king of Hyrule is restored to the throne.
