The Flames of Fortune is a Side Quest in Echoes of Wisdom.
Overview
After completing The Rift on Eldin Volcano, make your way to the northwest part of Eldin Volcano, east of the Rock-Roast Quarry. Here Zelda will find Ondes a Goron who is lost, but was tasked with bringing Coal back to Goron City.

- Complete The Rift on Eldin Volcano quest
Walkthrough
- After clearing the Eldin Temple, Zelda will find Ondes, a Goron just to the east of the Rock-Roast Quarry on the other side of the lava.
- Ondes asked Zelda to bring the Coal over to Limme, a Goron standing just to the east of the entrance to Goron City.
- The Coal is burning, but if it is away from Lava for a long period of time, it will begin to cool down. To heat it back up, move it back towards some Lava.
- It's a good idea to defeat the enemies around the starting area to get them out of your way.
- Use Bind on the Coal and walk to the southeast. Zelda can leap off the ledges as she makes her way to Goron City.
- Bring the coal to Limme and Zelda will be awarded with two Might Crystals.
