  • She quickly learns that Lord Jabu-Jabu has been acting up ever since the rift appears. Lord Jabu-Jabu lives in the spirit's den just to the east of the village.
  • Travel to Zora River and enter Lord Jabu-Jabu's Den. Zelda will find some River Zora, who encourage her to visit the respective towns of the River Zora and Sea Zora.
  • Travel north to River Zora Village. The chief of the River Zora, Dradd, can be found in the hut at the far north end of the village. Speak with him and he'll back down to the Crossflows Plaza.
  • Travel south to the Zora Cove and to the Sea Zora Village, found underwater beneath the large fish island. Inside try to speak with Chief Kushara, but she'll run off to the Crossflows Plaza.
  • Make your way to Crossflows Plaza and upon arrive, you'll find the two chiefs arguing. Lord Jabu-Jabu will appear and will gobble up two of the Zoras before heading up the river to the north.
  • Make your way to River Zora Village and this will begin the main quest, Chaos at River Zora Village. After completing that quest, the group will move to Zora Cape, beginning the Rampage in Zora Cove quest.
  • After both quests are completed, travel to Lord Jabu-Jabu's Den. Inside the Den, use Bind to clear the rubble.
  • The left pedestal has been broken and Zelda will need to piece together the three pieces. Use Bind to grab the two pieces that are on the surface. The larger piece is in the water. Jump in and dive to the bottom. Use Bind and then swim back up to pull it out of the water.
  • With the debris removed and the pedestal restored, the chiefs will finally play their duet, causing the gate to open. The two chiefs will then run in to see Lord Jabu-Jabu.
  • After determinning it is an imposter Jabu-Jabu, a battle will ensue. Jabu-Jabu wil try to suck Zelda in. Drop a Bombfish and it will blow up after Jabu-Jabu sucks it in, stunning him momentarily. Then hit Jabu-Jabu with water based Echoes, or change to Swordfighter Form and deal some sword strikes. After a few hits Jabu-Jabu will begin to swim around before setting back in position. Repeat the process until he has been defeated.
  • Swim forward and have Tri create an entrance point. Dive down into the Stilled Jabul Waters.
  • Make your way through the Silled Jabul Waters. As you climb higher, learn a Water Block Echo. Make your way through the Silled Jabul Waters to the top of the area. Enter the Jabul Ruins.
  • After completing the Jabul Ruins, Zelda will warp back and speak with the two Zora chiefs. They will then play a short concert for Lord Jabu-Jabu.
  • General Wright will then appear, completing The Jabul Waters Rift quest.

Adventure Log

Step Description
1
2 Lord Jabu-Jabu has been running wild since the appearance of the large rift that Tri saw. You can find this great spirit's den somewhere beyond a bridge east of the village. The den may be close to that large rift.
3 You found where you can create an entrance into the large rift, but it's on the other side of a door. The only way to open it is to have the River Zora chief and Sea Zora chief play music there together.
4 The den's door won't open unless the River Zora and Sea Zora chiefs play there togethere. Unfortunately the River Zora chief, Draff, has rushed off to Crossflows Plaza without hearing your request.
5 You tried to meet with Chief Dradd and Chief Kushara, but they both hurried off to Crossflows Plaza to play music for Lord Jabu-Jabu. You've also heard that the two chiefs are having a big squabble.
6 Lord Jabu-Jabu seemed to be upset by the terrible performance and gulped down two of the Zora. The chiefs headed north in pursuit of Lord Jabu-Jabu.
7 Dradd and Kushara promised to perform together at the den, and Lord Jabu-Jabu has likely returned there as well. Head to the den to meet them all.
8 Lord Jabu-Jabu's rampage has made a ruin of his den. Dradd and Kushara can't perform until it's been restored to normal.
9 The two chiefs played in unison, and their performance opened the door to the den. Lord Jabu-Jabu is within. Confront him, and demand that he return the two Zora he gulped down.
10 The Lord Jabu-Jabu that's been on a rampage is an imposter that came from the rift. Defeat this fake Lord Jabu-Jabu and save the Zora who were gulped down.
11 You defeated the Lord Jabu-Jabu imposter. It's possible that the real Lord Jabu-Jabu is somewhere in the rift. Dradd and the others hope you can rescue him.
12 Tri made an entrance into the large rift in Jabul Waters. Head into it, and save Tri's friends, along with the real Lord Jabu-Jabu.
13 You saved Tri's friends and took care of the rift in Jabul Waters. You should now go back to your world.
Complete Lord Jabu-Jabu returned after you took care of the large rift in Jabul Waters. The Zora chiefs are also getting along again and performed for you to show their thanks.
