The Bow of Light is a recurring weapon in The Legend of Zelda series.

Spirit Tracks

In days gone by, it was used by the Spirits of Good to slay the evil demon Malladus. When Malladus possesses Zelda's body, Link must shoot an arrow to vanquish the demon from within her. Later, when Chancellor Cole and Malladus fuse, Link must distract Malladus for Zelda to shoot an arrow at a weak spot on its back. After a while, a crystal on its head will be exposed which Link must hit to conclude the battle. Link needs the Bow of Light in order to defeat Malladus. Link finds the Bow of Light at the end of the Sand Temple after defeating Skeldritch.

A Link Between Worlds

Princess Zelda gives Link this bow during the final battle with Yuga. It can only be used in painting form, and is only available during this fight.

Breath of the Wild

Zelda gives this bow to Link to finish off Ganon. The amiibo-exclusive Twilight Bow is very similar but weaker, and can be used outside of the boss battle.

The bow has an attack of 100 and a durability of 100, making it the single-shot bow with the strongest attack in the game. However, since it can't be used anywhere but in the final battle, the Royal Guard's Bow is second, but with middling durability. Despite having 100 durability, the Bow of Light will never break due to the way the game is programmed.

Like the Master Sword in the Weapons inventory, the Bow of Light has its own slot at the Bows inventory regardless of the slots obtained through collecting Korok Seeds. As such, its slot completes the Bows inventory screen with 13 bows + Bow of Light + 6 arrow types, equaling 20 slots.

The Bow of Light is both a class of weapon for Zelda and the highest-ranked weapon in the class, after the Sacred Bow and Sealing Bow. The power attack at Level 1 is 50, and at Level 50, it is 226.
