The Eightfold Blade is a melee weapon found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

"A single-edged sword traditional to the Sheikah tribe. Forged using ancient technology, it's said to be among the sharpest conventional weapons ever made."

Eightfold Blades have a base power of 15, and can be found in lone locations scattered across Hyrule, for example at one of the peaks at the Pillars of Levia. They are slightly curved, Japanese-style swords with a sharp gut tool at the base of the blade. The cross-guard is circular in design.

Age of Calamity

The Eightfold Blade is the lowest-level weapon of Master Kohga, superseded by Vicious Sickles and Demon Carvers as the Yiga Clan chief levels up.

Tears of the Kingdom

Yiga Footsoldiers now wield a corrupted Eightfold Blade as opposed to their usual Yiga weapons, though their movesets remain the same. Steen also brings one when he goes to clear the Bokoblins from the Ring Ruins with Olkin.

The weapon is decayed, and only has a base power of 6. Non-decayed versions of this weapon can be found in the Depths with a base power of 15.

Both versions excel at delivering fatal Sneakstrikes, dealing twice the usual damage for a 16× modifier. With a Molduga Jaw fused on, a Lv3 Attack Up meal and Bone Proficiency Up, a pristine Eightfold Blade can deal a nuclear 2030 damage in one hit, the highest possible single-hit damage in the game, annihilating anything vulnerable to the technique.
