"A single-edged sword seldom seen in Hyrule. This weapon is passed down through the Sheikah tribe and has an astonishingly shape edge ideal for slicing."
The Eightfold Longblade is a Sheikah-made two-handed weapon found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity and Tears of the Kingdom.
Appearances
Breath of the Wild
Eightfold Longblades have a base power of 32, and can be found in various chests across Hyrule. They appear to be a two-handed counterpart of the Eightfold Blade, dealing much more damage, but the sacrifice is that Link is unable to use a Shield whilst wielding this heavy blade. It bears resemblance to an Ōdachi samurai sword, with its curved design and long, razor sharp blade.
It has a unique charge attack, which is a horizontal slash, rather than the Great Spin Attack, which is commonly shared by every other two-handed weapon in the game. The only other weapon that shares this trait is the Windcleaver, which is similar in design and size.
If you can't find it right away, look behind lady Impa's house and use cryonis to get closer to the bigger of the two waterfalls there. Then use magnesis to pull the chest up.
