The Fishing Hole is a location that appears in Twilight Princess. It is here that Link can fish, for a price of course. It is owned and operated by Hena, the sister of Coro and Iza. It can be found in Upper Zora's River, to the north of the area.
Items
In the Fishing Hole there are three main items that can be collected to aid Link in one way or another. None of them are required to collect the game, but they still greatly assist Link, especially if Link wishes to 100% the game.
Empty Bottle
The Fishing Hole hides an Empty Bottle, the third of four available in the game. It can be found to the west (Wii) side of the area. There is a small, isolated pool of water that is separated from the lake by a bridge. The sign next to it gives a warning not to throw litter (e.g. Empty Bottles) into the water. Link can cast his Fishing Rod into the pool of water, just like he is trying to catch a fish. Eventually, he will reel in an Empty Bottle.
Piece of Heart

There is also a Piece of Heart located in the area. It requires the Fishing Rod to get. It can be found by first asking Hena to go fishing, and hop in the canoe. Once Link is in the canoe, head directly straight ahead. On top of the giant rock, there is a Piece of Heart that can be retrieved by casting Link's Fishing Rod at it.
Sinking Lure
- Main article: Sinking Lure
There is a special, illegal lure that can be found in the Fishing Hole known as the Sinking Lure. This lure is very helpful if Link is trying to catch the famous Hylian Loach.
Trivia
- During the ending credits, Hena, Coro, and Iza can be seen relaxing in the Fishing Hole.
- The Fishing Hole is one of the only two locations in Twilight Princess that have a beehive.
