"A destructive power born from the unbridled anger of the Champion Urbosa. Summons powerful lightning to the surrounding area."

— In-Game Description

Urbosa's Fury is one of the four Champions' Blessings and a Key Item found in Breath of the Wild. It is obtained from Urbosa after defeating Thunderblight Ganon in the Divine Beast Vah Naboris. Obtainment of the blessing requires the activation of the Main Control Unit of the Divine Beast. Leaving the Divine Beast without activation will not grant Link the blessing.

This ability will temporarily stun enemies with an electric attack when used. Link can use this opportunity to attack the enemy and deal large amounts of damage. It is automatically used upon unleashing a fully charged attack with any weapon. Link can use the ability thrice before a recharge is required.

Urbosa's Fury deals a flat 150 damage to most regular enemies and most Bosses within the game. It is not affected by Weapon Bonuses, Set Bonuses, Cooking Bonuses, or the weather. The ability does not damage insects, or animals, and is not conducted by metallic weapons.

The ability deals 300 damage to Sub-Bosses such as Stone Taluses and Hinoxes, and all their variants. However, due to their increased weakness against electricity, Moldugas and the Molduking are dealt 500 damage when hit by Urbosa's Fury.
Similarly to Moldugas, Urbosa's Fury deals 500 damage to all variants of Guardians and Lynels.

Urbosa's Fury requires twelve real-life minutes to recharge before it can be used again. Within the bounds of Hyrule Castle, the recharge period is reduced to four real-life minutes before it can be used again.

An upgrade is available as a part of the Expansion Pass, in the form of Urbosa's Fury +. It is obtained after defeating Thunderblight Ganon again in the Illusory Realm. This upgrade reduces the cooldown to recharge the ability.

Notable Interactions

  • To electric enemies such as Electric Wizzrobes and Thunder Wizzrobes, Urbosa's Fury deals 75 damage and does not apply the electric stun effect as opposed to other elemental Wizzrobes.
  • In Master Mode, irrespective of the somewhat shock-resistant nature of Golden enemies, Urbosa's Fury will stun them for the same duration as most other enemies.
  • Urbosa's Fury is ineffective against the Dragons, Naydra, Farosh and Dinraal. Consequently, the ability can not be used to farm dragon parts from them.
  • Unlike other bosses within the game, Urbosa's Fury only deals 10 damage to Monk Maz Koshia.
