Overview

The photo first becomes available after Link has completed the Woodfall Temple.

The photo shows Link in Termina Field standing next to a hole that leads down into a Grott.

Solution

  • Exit Clock Town to the south and then head southwest towards Milk Road
  • There is a Deku Baba in the grassy area here, with some butterflies flying around
  • Next to the butterflies is a grotto that Link can fall down
  • Inside Link will find an enemy Peahat
  • Awaken the peahat and then attack its underside with your sword or an Arrow to defeat it
  • If it is night time in the 3DS version the peahat won't wake up, but Link can still defeat it with Bombs
  • Open the chest that appears to get a Piece of Heart
