Mamu is a frog singer from Link's Awakening.

Link's Awakening

If Link manages to make it through the entire Signpost Maze correctly, stairs leading down to Mamu will be revealed by the last signpost.

On entering Mamu's cave, if Link does not have the ocarina, Mamu will refuse to talk to him.[1] If he does, Mamu will sing a "previously unreleased cut" on payment of 300 rupees.[2] The song is Frog's Song of Soul, and after hearing it, Link can replicate it on his ocarina.[3] Mamu explains that the song makes things feel alive.[4]
