Southern Gerudo Desert Rift is a Main Quest in Echoes of Wisdom.
Overview
As part of the A Rift in the Gerudo Desert Quest, Zelda needs to travel beneath the sand to reach the Gerudo Sanctum, but the Gerudo chief won't let her. After meeting with Dohna at the Oasis, Zelda is tasked with proving her usefullness and clearing the three small rifts in the area.
Travel just south of Gerudo Town to reach the Southern Gerudo Desert. Here you will find a few tired Gerudo Soldiers and speaking to them will begin the quest.

- Progress in the A Rift in the Gerudo Desert quest.
Walkthrough
- As part of the A Rift in the Gerudo Desert, Zelda will eventually travel to the Oasis to meet with Dohna. The chief won't let Zelda investigate below the sand so in order to prove her usefullness, Dohna has tasked Zelda with helping eliminate three of the smaller rifts.
- Travel to the southwest end of Gerudo Desert, at the Southern Gerudo Desert, just south of Gerudo Town. Speak to the tired soldiers to begin the quest.
- Dohna appears and tells Zelda that the soldiers need a drink that will both hydrate them and provide nutrients. Dohna tasks Zelda with going to the Smoothie Shop at the Oasis and buying a Cactus Smoothie. Zelda will need two Chilly Cactus in order to make the smoothie, which Dohna will give to Zelda.
- Walk over or warp to the Oasis and speak with the Business Scrub at the Smoothie Shop.
- Choose two Chilly Cactus as the two ingredients. It will cost 10 rupees, but this will create a Cactus Smoothie. This smoothie provides a temporary Fire-Proof effect.
- Return to the Southern Gerudo Desert and give the smoothie to Dohna. She will give it to the Gerudo soldiers, which will rejuvenate them and complete the quest.
