The King's Key is an item from Phantom Hourglass. On the Isle of Ruins Link will make an entrance to Doylan's Tomb and make it all the way to Doylan's Burial Chamber. Link will talk to the spirit here and he will reward Link with the King's Key.
Doylan later tells Link to entrance Bremeur's Tomb. Link will do so and he will use the King's Key on the large lock and it will break the great seal. The water subsides allowing Link to explore all the lower terrain.
