The Prime Energy and Null is a Main Quest in Echoes of Wisdom.

Overview

After Zelda completes the Eldin Temple, Faron Temple, and Lanayru Temple, Zelda will receive the hint that she should travel into the Eternal Forest to find Link and to stop Null.

Requirements

Walkthrough

  • After completing the Eldin Temple, Faron Temple, and Lanayru Temple, Zelda will get the hint that she might encounter Link within the Eternal Forest, Zelda's next destination.
  • After arriving at the Eternal Forest, Zelda will find General Wright. Examine the stone tablet nearby and it will emerge from underground, telling Zelda to crown each pedestal, demonstrating the power of the echoes. Zelda can then examine the nearby orb to learn the Ancient Orb Echo. Zelda can use Bind on the orb and place it on the pedestal, causing a yellow circle to appear on the large stone statue.
  • There are five other pedestals through the Eternal Forest, and their locations are relatively in the same position as the diagram on the stone statue. Walk around and create Echoes of Ancient Orbs and place them on the corresponding pedestals. When all six orbs are on the pedestals, return to the stone statue and it will open up a pathway ahead.
  • Zelda can speak with the Deku Tree here and this will open up an entrance, leading down into the Ancient Ruins.
  • Here the Prime Energy that the echo of Zelda is after will split, with one piece going to Zelda, another to the evil Echo, and a third, going into a void, elsewhere. Zelda can head in and enter the void to enter the Stilled Ancient Ruins.
  • After traveling through the Stilled Ancient Ruins, Zelda will do battle with the Echo of Zelda. After which, Zelda can shoot the crystal that is holding Link to free him.

Adventure Log

Step Description
1 The Eternal Forest watched over by the sacred tree contains the path to the Prime Energy. The forest is northwest of Hyrule Castle. Head there to find the hero and stop Null.
2 The following message was inscribed on the stone monument in the Eternal Forest: "The path will open when the six pedestals are crowned. To crown each pedestal, demonstrate the power of echoes, and prove your wisdom."
3 A path heading deeper into the Eternal Forest opened after placing Ancient Orbs on the six pedestals. General Wright and his soldiers parted ways with Zelda, returning to Hyrule Castle.
4 You met the sacred Deku Tree deep within the Eternal Forest. The echo of Zelda deceived the Deku Tree and is heading toward the Prime Energy.
5 The Prime Energy split into three—one piece went to Zelda, and another went to the echo of Zelda. It seems the Zelda echo has an idea about where the last piece may be..
6 The echo of Zelda escaped into the darkness beyond. She still holds the last part of the Prime Energy.
7 After returning all of the weapons of might back to Link, he opened up a path forward. Work with Link to retrieve the piece of the Prime Energy from Null.
