  • Speak with Beecher, one of the guards at the south entrance to Hyrule Castle Town.
  • Zelda can speak with various soldiers, which leads him to the Barracks at the northwest part of town. Here Zelda learns that there was an extra set of equipment meant for disposal, but it has since gone missing.
  • Looking around at all the soldiers, Zelda will find that the soldier near the well has a broken Lance.
  • Return to the Barracks and speak with Beecher, revealing that you think it is the soldier near the Well, with the broken Lance.
  • After confronting the soldier, the soldier admits he is an imposter. After the Rifts effected Castle Town, he wanted to become a soldier so he can help people. The soldier is revealed to be named Capnut, and General Wright states that he will speak with the King of Hyrule about him becoming a soldier.
  • As a thanks for helping, General Wright will give Zelda a Golden Egg.

Adventure Log

Step Description
1 Beecher says that there's an echo among the soldiers in Castle Town. Do some digging to see if any of the soldiers seem suspicious.
2 There should be someone with broken equipment mixed in among the soldiers. Check in with Beecher once you've identified them.
Complete The "echo" turned out to be a young man who just admired the other soldiers. General Wright, impressed by the man's enthusiasm, decided to recruit him.
