Moveset

Attack Explanation
Base String? Link performs a string of seven attacks; He swipes the right flail to the left, swipes the left flail to the right, spins and swipes both flails right, thrusts both flails ahead, jumps forward while spinning the flails around himself, performs a spin kick, and slams the flails to the ground.
C1? Link's C1 differs depending on the type of Flail he is using.
  • Guardian Flails: Link thrusts the left flail ahead, attaching it to the ground, and slingshots himself forward while spinning the other flail to his right.
  • Ancient Bladed Flails: Link charges a long-range energy blast and fires it off. While aiming, time slows down and Link can aim freely.
  • Fortified Flails: Link creates an energy barrier in front of him for a brief time, which can perform Parries with correct timing.
Regular Dash Attack? Link swings the right flail to the left. This brings him to a stop, and can transition into his base attack string.
Strong Dash Attack? Link jumps forward while swinging both flails in a volley around him.
Base Aerial String? Link performs a string of three attacks; He swings both flails down, spins them above his head, and performs a second downward swipe.
Aerial C1? Link attaches the right flail to the ground and pulls himself down while smashing the other flail to the ground in front of him, causing a large impact.
C2? Link attaches the left flail to a distant point above him, and uses them to swing forward while surrounded by energy.
C3? Link rapidly sweeps the flails in a wide arc in front of him, hitting repeatedly.
C4? Link jumps into the air while spinning the flails around himself. This can be extended into his aerial attacks.
C5? Link spins the flails in a wide radius around him, before thrusting both of them forward. The second attack exposes Weak Point Gauges.
C6? Link performs a series of rapid thrust attacks with the flails, before thrusting the right flail a long distance ahead. The second attack exposes Weak Point Gauges.
Unique Action? Link thrusts the right flail ahead. If he hits an enemy wielding a one-handed weapon, two-handed weapon, or spear, Link uses the flails to create a copy of the weapon and performs a dash attack to hit said enemy. The copied weapon replaces Link's moveset with that of the appropriate weapon class, but has limited durability (displayed via the Flail Gauge) and will break after extended use; Pressing ZR again causes Link to throw the weapon, which hits enemies directly in front of Link and exposes Weak Point Gauges, but breaks the weapon immediately. Once the weapon breaks, Link cannot use his Unique Action again until the Flail Gauge recharges. The copied weapons can only use the first two hits of their base string and their C1, but have special properties:
  • One-Handed Weapons have a larger area-of-effect, making them ideal for crowd control.
  • Two-Handed Weapons expose enemy Weak Point Gauges with their second regular attack and at the end of their C1.
  • Spears expose enemy Weak Point Gauges with both of their regular attacks, but do not cause enemies to flinch.
Special Attack? TBA
Weak Point Smash? TBA
Runes
  • Remote Bomb: Link throws a volley of four Remote Bombs, which can be freely aimed. If Link stuns an enemy with one of the Bombs, he cannot dodge cancel out of the Rune.
  • Cryonis: Link creates an ice block beneath his feet, launching himself into the air. From there, he can land, ride the wind, or chain the Rune into his aerial attacks.
  • Magnesis: Link grabs all metallic objects nearby and forms them into a rotating ball in front of him. For a short time, he can freely move at a light trot and manipulate the ball around him, attacking enemies who come in contact with it.
  • Stasis: Link freezes a group of enemies directly in front of him.
  • Enhanced Ability: Attacking enemies reduces the Unique Action cooldown.
