The Hero's Sword is a sword from The Wind Waker.
The Wind Waker
The Hero's Sword is the first sword that Link acquires in The Wind Waker. After the Helmaroc King appears on Outset Island and drops Tetra down into the Forest of Fairies, Link will set off to investigate. He'll need a sword in order to cut his way through the bushes to reach the forest. At this point, Link can speak with Orca to take part in his Sword Training. After mastering the basic skills, Link is given the Hero's Sword.
With the sword in hand, Link heads into the island's forest to save Tetra. Tetra's Pirate Crew went to save her too, but Link beat them to it. After leaving the forest with Tetra and her crew, Link is greeted by Aryll, who is immediately kidnapped by the Helmaroc King. Link, Tetra and her crew travel to the Forsaken Fortress to save Aryll. They launch Link to the fortress, but he loses the Hero's Sword on impact. Managing to make it through the area without his sword, Link eventually finds the Hero's Sword and enters the prison where Aryll is held captive.
After Link travels to Hyrule Castle, he will acquire the Master Sword, which replaces the Hero's Sword.
