Goron Elder

Goron Elder is a title given to an elderly Goron whom serves as the leader of the Goron race in the particular title. There have been reccurring Gorons throughout The Legend of Zelda series that have held this title, or a similar one.

The Goron Elder is the leader of the Gorons living within Rolling Ridge. Link will save the Goron Elder and acquire the Crown Key, which gives Link access to the 5th dungeon in the game, the Crown Dungeon.
Twilight Princess
There are four Goron Elders in Twilight Princess, and they are found on, in, and around Death Mountain. Three of them can originally be found in the Goron Mines. If Link visits them, they will bestow Link a Key Shard, which is required to open the boss door. After Link has completed the dungeon, they leave the Goron Mines. - The Goron Elder is the leader of the Goron race in every game they appear in except for Twilight Princess. In Twilight Princess, the leader is Darbus, the Goron Patriarch.
