Gohma
Gohma is a recurring Boss that has been seen in many Zelda titles starting from the very beginning. It usually appears as a spider-like creature with one eye that is its weak point.

In The Legend of Zelda, Gohma first appears as the Boss of the sixth dungeon in the game, Level 6: The Dragon. This variety is red, and takes Link only one shot with his Bow & Arrow to defeat. Gohma is here guarding the sixth Triforce Shard. Gohma's main attack is to walk laterally shooting fireballs at Link.
Gohma appears later on in the game as the Mini-Boss of the eighth dungeon, The Lion. There are Gohmas in this dungeon, and they are both slightly more strong than the previous Gohma. These Gohmas takes threes hits to kill, while the last took only one. Also, these one are blue, not red.
Link's Awakening
Link's Awakening's Gohma was a mini-boss found in the Dungeon, Catfish's Maw. Arrows and the Hookshot are effective, although arrows are most effective.
Ocarina of Time

In Ocarina of Time, Link faced a Gohma called Parasitic Armored Arachnid, Queen Gohma. Queen Gohma act as the boss for the first Dungeon of the game, Inside the Great Deku Tree. This boss fight was the first in 3d and therefore added a lot of different battle strategies. One that was most often implemented was the use of Deku Nuts to stun it then Z-Target and jump slash to double your damage. This version also made Link to fight off Gohma Larva, which also appeared in Twilight Princess.
Oracle of Seasons
Gohma is the boss of the fourth dungeon, Dancing Dragon dungeon. It appears as a spider with one large claw that covers his eye. In the first phase of the battle, Gohma will charge at you and try to grab you with its claw. If it grabs you, it will throw you around the room and you will take high damage. You must slash at its claw with your sword until it falls off. Now you can equip the slingshot. Gohma will move around the room, opening and closing its eye. It will also shoot out baby spiders that you can kill for recovery hearts and seeds. You must use your slingshot to shoot Gohma in the eye when the eye is open. After about five shots, Gohma will be defeated.
The Wind Waker
Called the normal way, Gohma, The Wind Waker version is more scorpion-like than spider-like. It is the boss of Dragon Roost Cavern, and is defeated using the Grappling Hook.
Twilight Princess

Gohma is called Armogohma in Twilight Princess, is a very large spider that is the boss of the Temple of Time, the sixth dungeon of the game.
Trivia
- The Mini-Boss, Wart, in Majora's Mask, has a similar opening to Queen Gohma.
