When Link arrives at Great Bay, he is tasked with finding all the Zora Eggs. The big tank at the Marine reaserch lab holds all the eggs that Link finds. The player will have to continueously return to the lab as there is not enough Empty Bottles available to capture all seven Zora eggs. Once Link finds all the eggs, the Proffesor tells link that they are hatching. The baby Zora teach Link the New Wave Bossa Nova, which allows him to procede in his quest.
Heart Piece #33
Within the confinements of the lab, there is an aquarium with two orange fishes inside right next to the door. Link can stand on top of it and drop fishes in. One of the fish inside eats the smaller fish and thus increase in size. Eventually the fish eats the other orange fish within the tank and spit out a Piece of Heart for Link to grab, specifically Heart Piece #33.

- There is a clock on the side of the Marine Research Lab displaying the same time as the one in Clock Town.
