• May - Link's Crossbow Training was released in Japan. (It was released elsewhere in 2007.)
• August - Twilight Princess was released for the Wii in Korea.

• 31st - Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released for the Nintendo Wii in Japan.

April

• 1st - IGN released an April Fools joke trailer of a live-action film based on The Legend of Zelda. Just after midnight on April 2nd, IGN revealed it was just an April Fools joke.

March

• 9th - Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released for the Nintendo Wii in North America.

May

• 1st - Link's Crossbow Training was released for the Nintendo Wii in Japan.

June

• 26th - Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released for the Nintendo Wii in Australia.

• 27th - Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released for the Nintendo Wii in Europe.

July

• 15th - Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that a Wii Zelda Title is currently in development.

August

• 27th - Twilight Princess was released for the Wii in Korea.

October

• 7th - Part 1 of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Manga was released in English.

November

• 28th - The Legend of Zelda and Philosophy was published.
