Looking for Bempu is a Side Quest in Echoes of Wisdom.

Overview

After completing A Rift in the Faron Wetlands, make your way to the southwest part of Scrubton where there are two Deku Scrubs. Speak with Buzzu and Bempu, two scrubs who sit insulting each other. Bempu tells Buzzu he'll stop if Buzzu beats them at hide-and-seek. Since Buzzu is bad at it, they conscript Zelda to help track Bempu down. After finding Bempu in four places around the Faron Wetlands, Bempu admits defeat, and tells Buzzu they're jealous that Buzzu is better at making stuff than them. Buzzu is mostly angry that Bempu had been gratuitously hurting their feelings rather than asking for help.

Buzzu then thanks Zelda for her help by giving her the Fairy Fragrance accessory.

Requirements

• Complete A Rift in the Faron Wetlands quest

Walkthrough

• After clearing the Faron Temple, return to Scrubton and speak to the Deku Scrubs at the southwest part of town. The two here will play a game of Hide-n-Seek
• Bempu will run and hide, giving Zelda a hint that it is near the trendiest shop in town.
• With Smoothies being the new trend, check the Smoothie Shop at the northeast part of town. Just in front of the shop, Bempu can be seen hiding underground. Use Bind and pull on Bempu to get the scrub to pop out from underground.
• Bempu will run off and hide again, this time giving Zelda a hint that they are hiding near Heart Lake. Travel to the southwest part of the Faron Wetlands and Bempu can be found hiding just northwest of the lake. Pull Bempu out of the ground using Bind.
• Bempu will go off hiding again, this time in the center of four stone siblings. This location is referring to the four large Deku statues, located in the area just west of The Sweet Spot.
• Bempu will then hide at a location where there is a home, which was once covered by a Rift. Bempu is referring to Blossu's House, found in the southeast part of the Wetlands. Travel over there and pull Bempu out of the ground.
• As a thanks for playing and helping them out, Buzzu will give Zelda the Fairy Fragrance. This is an upgrade over the Fairy Flower, which gives a Fairy Appearance Up+ effect.

3	You beat Bempu again, and they challenged you to another rematch. This time, they're hiding in the center of four stone siblings.
4	After you beat Bempu a third time, they challenged you to yet another rematch. Now they're hiding at a home where a rift used to be.
Complete	You finally beat Bempu at hide-and- seek! Buzzu was pretty angry when they learned why Bempu was teasing them.
