Overview

Once Zelda arrives at Goron City, she can enter the room at the top-right to find Basa, the fireworks artist. He wants to put on a fireworks show to celebrate the new chief, Darston. However, he needs some Blastpowder Soil to make the fireworks. He mentions that they can be found further up the mountain, next to where there are some gold flowers, like the ones in his room. After bringing him back some Blastpowder Soil, he'll create the fireworks and put on the fireworks show. He'll then reward Zelda with 50 Rupees, and she can also scan his firework with the Tri Rod to obtain a Firework Echo.

Trivia

  • Basa's dialogue is slightly different depending on whether the Stilled Goron City rift has appeared and been mended - he will only name "the new chief" as Darston if Zelda has met him, and will note "the rift being gone" as one of the reasons to celebrate if it has been mended first.
