- This article is about the location from Breath of the Wild. For the location from Ocarina of Time, see Gerudo Valley.
"This canyon is the only route connecting Greater Hyrule with the Gerudo Desert. Platforms built into the cliff sides were once used for excavation surveys, and there are man-powered elevators for moving goods. This is where the Divine Beast Vah Naboris was discovered a century ago. "
The Gerudo Canyon is a location found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
The Gerudo Canyon is a long area found just west of the Great Plateau. The canyon breaks up the Gerudo Highlands with the Gerudo Canyon Pass serving as the road that travels right through. The canyon allows for foot or horseback travel through the mountains, leading to the Gerudo Canyon Stable to the west.
Throughout the area there are numerous plank walkways on the sides of cliffs. These were originally used by excavators, but serves as routes that Link can walk along the sides of the cliff. Throughout the canyon there are numerous natural rock bridges that extend over the road below, connecting the Koukot Plateau with Mount Nabooru. There are also some man-made walkways that connect the plank constructions.

Tears of the Kingdom
The Gerudo Canyon is a large area found between the Great Plateau and Gerudo Desert. It includes the Gerudo Canyon Pass, as well as higher elevations, such as the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. The higher elevations are subject to extreme temperatures where Link will need to have some Heat Resistance during the daytime and some Cold Resistance during the night.
Gerudo Canyon Stable
- Main article: Gerudo Canyon Stable
Found at the west end of the Gerudo Canyon, the Gerudo Canyon Stable is a closed down stable. Due to the extreme temperatures of the region the stable owner Piaffe had to close down the stable. He still remains at the stable and speaking with him begins the Piaffe, Packed Away quest.
Turakamik Shrine
- Main article: Turakamik Shrine
The Turakamik Shrine, titled Hidden Metal can be found at the west side of the canyon, just east of the Gerudo Canyon Stable. The shrine requires Link to pass electricity through metal blocks and orbs.
Korok Seeds
- Just north of the Skyview Tower, there is a Korok at a lower elevation trying to reunite with his friend. Link can use the elevator by moving the weight of the boxes to bring one end of the elevator down. After placing the Korok on the elevator, Link can remove the weight from there and place it on the other platform if necessary, causing the elevator to rise. Reunite the two to get a pair of Korok Seeds.
- East of the Skyview Tower there is a Cherry Tree and just to the east of that is a large rock. Underneath the rock, cut the leaves and lift the small rock to get the Korok Seed.
- Just southeast of the Cherry Tree, there is a wooden three-pronged pedestal. Place the nearby boulder on the pedestal to get the Korok Seed.
- Just northeast of the Turakamik Shrine on one of the higher ledges, there are a series of red arrows. Examine the sparkling lights the arrows point to in order to get the Korok Seed.
