Moblins' Revenge is a dream option for a Slumber Dojo training session in Echoes of Wisdom.

Overview

"Defeat an unruly horde of Moblins! For this training, you'll have to rely on your skills alone! You won't be able to use drinks or items that restore your hearts."

— In-game descriptions

Zelda begins with the Tri Rod and all echoes, and full hearts. She cannot use healing potions or smoothies, nor gain hearts from bed echoes.

Close to Zelda at the start are three boulders. Zelda can immediately scan these to learn the Boulder Echo. On the far side of the room are ten Spear Moblins. Zelda must defeat all ten in order to complete the scenario.

Once all of the monsters are defeated, the timer stops, and Zelda returns to reality with no damage (if any) taken affecting her normal health. If she completes it in less than 60 seconds, she wins twenty Rupees for her first clear. If she completes it in less than 35 seconds, she also wins three Monster Stones on first completion, or one stone on subsequent completions. It also contributes toward general Slumber Dojo rewards earned for completing multiple scenarios, such as a Piece of Heart and Heirloom Katana.

Requirements

Complete the Hyrule Castle dungeon.

Walkthrough

  • This scenario is straightforward: Defeat ten Spear Moblins in the quickest possible time.
  • The simplest option is to use Swordfighter Form, especially if the Sword of Might is upgraded to Lv. 3. Spin Attacks and (if Lv. 3) Sword Beams can make short work of ten basic moblins.
  • If echoes are required, an effective attacker is the Sword Moblin, especially if Tri has levelled up to the point that they cost one triangle per echo. Time to complete can be minimized by using the ability to create echoes at a distance, which can put each new echo in easy striking distance of one or more Spear Moblins.
