Suthorn Ruins is a dungeon found in Echoes of Wisdom.

Echoes of Wisdom

Entry as Link

The start of the game takes place at the Ruins. Link travels through the dungeon, fighting various enemies, including Keese and Darknuts. The area acts as a tutorial, explaining how to use Link's various items and how to jump over obstacles.

At the end of the dungeon is Ganon, who has a captured Zelda nearby. After Ganon is defeated, he stabs his trident into the ground and disappears in a purple mist. The trident soon creates a purple rift in the floor, which engulfs Link and the center of the room. After Zelda picks up the Swordsman's Cloak, the rift starts spreading rapidly, forcing her to run, and engulfing the entire Ruins after she escapes.

Entry as Zelda

The Suthorn Ruins is one of the dungeons that Zelda encounters within the Still World.

Zelda re-enters the Suthorn Ruins while exploring the Stilled Suthorn Forest. During her travels through, Tri explains how to Bind and Reverse Bond objects.

The mini-boss of the dungeon is an imposter of Link, which leaves behind a "mysterious sword" that allows Zelda to enter Swordfighter Form and temporarily use Link's moveset, at the cost of depleting her Energy Gauge. Energy which refills the gauge begins appearing after this.

The boss of the dungeon is a rock-based Seismic Talus which holds many of Tri's friends captive. Defeating the Talus frees them to restore Suthorn Forest. In the process, they also share energy with Tri, upgrading Tri's level and increasing their ▼ count for echoes by 1; and give Tri five "unusual crystals" which they pass on to Zelda.
