Finding the Flying Plant is a Side Quest in Echoes of Wisdom.
Overview
After completing the Suthorn Ruins, Zelda can speak with the man found at the southwest part of Suthorn Village. He wants to cheer up his wife, Oethera by bringing her something rare. He mentions that he saw a flying plant when he went for a walk, but he lost sight of the thing. He mentions that it is near the caves deep in Suthorn Forest.
Requirements
- Complete the Suthorn Ruins.
Walkthrough
- After completing the Suthorn Ruins, Zelda can speak to the man at the southwest part of Suthorn Village to begin the quest.
- Zelda can warp to the Travel Waypoint just south of Suthorn Ruins. From there, she can travel southward and enter a cave.
- Inside the cave there is an enemy Peahat. Zelda can defeat it used a Spear Moblin Echo, or other enemy echoes. After defeating it, Zelda can learn the Peahat Echo.
- After returning to Suthorn Village, Zelda can release a Peahat. Intially the man is excited to see the flying plant, but quickly realizes it is a monster.
- His wife Oethera appears and has overheard the whole conversation. She falls further in love with him and the two decide to make plans to go on a trip. He mentions wanting to visit Seesyde Village near Lake Hylia.
- The Man will give Zelda a Might Crystal, completing the quest.
