The Dominion Rod is a weapon class used by Zelda in Hyrule Warriors. It was added to the Wii U version with the Twilight Princess Pack.

Moveset

Zelda can have either a Hammer Guardian Statue or an Owl Statue summoned using her C1; While a statue is summoned, it modifies her base attack string for a short time (as indicated by the gauge). The statue remains in place once summoned, allowing Zelda to continue the string in another direction as the statue attacks where she was facing.

Attack Explanation
Base String?
  • No Statue: Zelda performs a series of seven attacks; She thrusts the ball of light forward, spins it in a circle in front of her, spins it around her, strides forward while twirling the ball, smashes it into the ground a short distance from her, swings it to the right and left, and smashes it into the ground again.
  • Hammer Guardian Statue: The Statue will attack in coordination with Zelda; It smashes down from the right, does so again but further out, performs a Spin Attack, smashes down from the left, does so again but further out, turns towards Zelda and performs a flurry of smashes, and finishes with one powerful strike.
  • Owl Statue: The Statue will attack in coordination with Zelda; It sweeps to the right, hops back to the left, spins in a circle around Zelda, hops to the right, performs a slam attack in front of Zelda, performs several slam attacks in front of Zelda, and sweeps to the right again.
C1? Zelda summons a statue in front of her, cycling to it; This will cycle Zelda in the pattern "Hammer Guardian, Owl, Dismiss Statue".
C2? Zelda summons the Owl Statue, which pops out, then jumps up and knocks enemies into the air. This will cycle Zelda to the Owl Statue.
C3? Zelda leaps back and summons the Hammer Guardian Statue, which performs three smash attacks in front of her. This will cycle Zelda to the Hammer Guardian Statue.
C4? Zelda summons the Hammer Guardian Statue, which performs a single, powerful smash in front of her. This will cycle Zelda to the Hammer Guardian Statue.
C5? Zelda summons the Owl Statue, which pops up twice around her before jumping into the air. This will cycle Zelda to the Owl Statue.
C6? Zelda summons the Owl Statue beneath her feet and rides it forward, before summoning the Hammer Guardian Statue to perform a smash attack in front of her.
Special Attack Zelda summons the Owl Statue to launch enemies up, before summoning the Hammer Guardian Statue to smash them away.
Focus Spirit Finisher Manual: Zelda summons a giant Owl Statue in front of her, which tips over and crashes down in front of her.
Automatic: Zelda summons the Hammer Guardian Statue in front of her, which smashes the ground to create an explosion of darkness.
