Sparks are recurring enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.

A Link to the Past

In A Link to the Past, Sparks are invincible and can only be avoided. They first appear within the Tower of Hera, moving in a circle surrounding the Big Chest that contains the Moon Pearl. They later appear periodically in dungeons throughout the Dark World.

Link's Awakening

In Link's Awakening, Sparks can be defeated by either sprinkling some Magic Powder or by using the Boomerang. In this game, defeating a Spark will turn it into Fairies that replenish Link's health.

Oracle of Seasons & Oracle of Ages

In Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages, Sparks have an identical look and attributes as in Link's Awakening. They can be defeated with one hit of the Boomerang and will leave behind a Fairy.
