Fire Wizzrobes are recurring enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.

The Minish Cap

In The Minish Cap, Fire Wizzrobes don a red robe and shoot fire at Link, who will run around extremely fast and out of control after being hit. They first appear late in the Palace of Winds, appearing in a group of three, guarding a treasure chest that contains the Dungeon Map. They can be defeated with three slashes from the White Sword.

Breath of the Wild

"These spell-casting monsters can be found all over Hyrule. They use their fire rods to hurl fireballs or to summon flaming monsters and have been known to severely raise the temperature around them. The weather will normalize once the Wizzrobe is defeated."

— Hyrule Compendium entry

In Breath of the Wild, Fire Wizzrobes can be seen prancing about in select locations in Hyrule, and will only attack if Link nears. They will taunt him, and as he approaches, the Wizzrobe will teleport around and cast fiery spells at Link. If Link doesn't eliminate the Wizzrobe quickly, it will cast a strong fire spell, which will increase the temperature in the area to high, and cause fiery boulders to fall.

If hit by a fireball, Link will be set aflame and take damage, unless he has the Fireproof Set Bonus from an upgraded Flamebreaker Set. Upon death, they will drop the Fire Rod they carry.

Age of Calamity

In Age of Calamity, Fire Wizzrobes are common enemies, first appearing in the first scenario of the game, The Battle of Hyrule Field. They will shoot fireball attacks from their Fire Rod which can burn nearby warriors. Upon dodging their attacks, their Weak Point Gauge will appear, allowing for an opening for the warrior to defeat them. Once they are defeated, a Fire Wizzrobe will drop small fire orbs, which are used as ammunition for the warriors Fire Rod.

For every Fire Wizzrobe that is defeated, the player will receive a Wizzrobe Trophy, which can be used to complete quests or upgrade weapons of the various warriors.
