''Smash Remix'' is a mod of ''Super Smash Bros.''. It is constantly updated, with version 1.5.0 released January 4, 2024. This mod takes the content from ''Super Smash Bros.'' and adds extra characters and stages.
As far as ''Zelda'' content goes, Ganondorf, Young Link, and Sheik are all playable. All of them had previously been playable in ''Super Smash Bros. Melee'' and all ''Super Smash'' games beyond (minus Young Link's absence in ''Brawl'' and the fourth title). New stages include Great Bay and Hyrule Temple (from ''Melee''), Ganon's Tower, Deku Tree, Gerudo Valley (different from the one from ''Super Smash Bros 3DS'' and ''Super Smash Bros. Ultimate'') and Tal Tal Heights. The former three are from ''Ocarina of Time'' and the latter is from ''Link's Awakening''.
As of version 1.5.0, no characters from ''Zelda'' games beyond ''Ocarina of Time'' have been added, nor any stages beyond ''Majora's Mask''. In fact, Dark Samus (from ''Metroid Prime'') is the only character from ''any'' franchise to have debuted after the original release of ''Super Smash Bros.'', and Mementos (from ''Persona 5'', previously seen in ''Ultimate'') is the only stage from a game released after the lifespan of the Nintendo 64.

Other Games

Some romhacks are made from other games, but will have a heavy Zelda involvement, or will be created as a crossover. Super Smash Bros. games will only be added if new content from the Zelda series was added.

The Legend of Banjo-Kazooie: The Jiggies of time is a romhack of Banjo-Kazooie for Nintendo 64; however, as the title suggests it is heavily based on Ocarina of Time. The entire overworld map is that of Ocarina of Time, and numerous enemies and items were reskinned to appear as those of Ocarina of Time rather than Banjo-Kazooie. For instance, the health bar, which was just simply honeycombs in Banjo-Kazooie, have been reskinned to look like Hearts, and all of Mumbo's transformations are Zelda creatures such as a Dodongo and even a Bomb Bag.

The soundtrack, mostly derived from Ocarina of Time, has also been redone in the soundfont style of Banjo-Kazooie. Numerous easter eggs and references, not only to Ocarina of Time and Banjo-Kazooie but to many other games, are scattered throughout the game. For instance, the pictures in Hyrule Castle, which were originally characters from Super Mario Bros. in Ocarina of Time, are now characters from Diddy Kong Racing. A washed-up Ganondorf can be seen in the basement of Hyrule Castle, hopelessly playing Adventure of Link. The Hylian language from The Wind Waker, as well as a series of challenges resembling that game's Savage Labyrinth, can be seen in the Forest Temple.

Plot

The Deku Tree explains that he was going to send Navi to awaken Link so he could complete the quest from Ocarina of Time, however Gruntilda, the main villain from Banjo-Kazooie, hacked into the programming of the game and overpowered Ganondorf. Gruntilda obtained the Triforce and sealed the Door of Time with one of her own spells, and the only way to break the spell is using the Jiggies of Time. The quest was deemed to not be up to that of the young Hero of Time, so the Deku Tree recruited Banjo and Kazooie instead.
