The Soldier Set is an Armor set from Breath of the Wild, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and Tears of the Kingdom. It's shown to have been the standard armor of the Hyrulean Army before the events of the Great Calamity.

Breath of the Wild

The set can be purchased from the Ventest Clothing Boutique shop in Hateno Village. Despite being made of metal, the set does not attract lightning like metal weapons would do.

Upgrades

The items in this set can be upgraded by a Great Fairy Fountain and cost Monster Parts to upgrade. Enhancing items requires that you have unlocked as many fountains as the desired star-level.

Alongside the Ancient Set and the Wild Set, it's the strongest armor set in the base game with a collective strength of 84, but upgrading the set brings no bonuses except the listed increase in armor strength.

Due to the relatively early availability of the ingredients to upgrade it, the Soldier's Set is one of the sets that can be fully upgraded the earliest in the game alongside the Hylian Set.

The Soldier's Set is no longer purchasable in any shop as standard; however, one of each piece can be found in Treasure Chests within the Royal Hidden Passage from Lookout Landing to Hyrule Castle. After being collected once, it can subsequently be repurchased from Cece's private collection after The Mayoral Election side quest is complete.

Enhance Path

Enhancing any part of the Soldier's Set requires that Link has unlocked at least as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level, plus the resources below. As in Breath of the Wild, it has no set bonus, but has the joint-highest defence of any armor except the Champion's Leathers.
